The 2011 Season has started

HAPPY NEW RUGBY YEAR!

The U5s rugby training started today, Sunday 16th January 2011.

We had a great turn out of over 45 players this morning. Pitch conditions were perfect....mud...mud and more mud! Well done everyone!

The U5s train on Sunday mornings from 9.30am to 10.30am (or thereabouts - it often goes on till about 10.40am) at the pitches at Turf City, Bukit Timah. These pitches are around the back in between the football pitches and golf driving range. If you are on the road heading towards GIANT supermarket, just follow the ring road around past the golf driving range and you'll see us (look for the black and red kit).

We welcome all children from the age of 3 years and 6 months old into our fun filled morning. There are no fees to pay. We do have a TRC kit which you can buy pitch side.

After registering on line, please print the form off, sign it and hand it to me on Sunday. Many thanks. Please register as I will then get your email address to keep you posted on our training schedules and other events.

In our sessions, our aim is for the children to develop ball handling skills through a variety of games. They begin to get use to working in teams and following simple instructions from their coach.

It is all about having fun, building up confidence and having a good time. Do bring plenty of water, although we have a pitch side stall selling a variety of can drinks and bottled water, as well as biscuits and other goodies. Please also apply high protection sun cream before training. A cap may be a good idea too.

Summer Break 2010

The mid-year extended break is almost upon us with the final training session being Sunday 13 June.

Training will resume on 29 August 2010.
